Promoter for the AOX1 (alcohol oxidase 1) gene in the P.pastoris GS115 strain. Derepressed by Mxr1 and upregulated by Mit1 and Prm1.

Usage and Biology

The AOX1 promoter is homogeneous to the P. pastoris GS115 strain. It is derepressed by Mxr1 and upregulated by Mit1 and Prm1, all transcription factors homogeneous to the P. pastoris GS115 strain.
