Usage and Biology
We, iGEM Leiden 2018, have combined this naturally occurring constitutive promoter (BBa_K2610040) from Escherichia coli with the link chromoprotein AsPink (BBa_K1033927) in order for us to compare it to our novel stress promoter+chromoprotein constructs. GapA is known for its high constitutive expression, as can be seen in Figure 1.
