Design Notes

Although originally codon optimized for E.coli, sequencing issues lead us to working with genomic DNA.

Source

The original sequence is derived from the Arc protein found in mouse neural cells. The DNA was amplified from the mouse genome and made biobrick compatable by using primer extension PCR and site directed mutagenesis.
