LacI
The sequence produce LaLa repressor protein which is based on natural lacR with only several point mutations. Standard BioBrick Prefix and Suffix are added to both ends of this part for standard assembly.
Usage and Biology
LaLa could strongly inhibit its corresponding operator which is based on natural lac operator with only several point mutations while it has also weak inhibition to natural lac operator.
