The graph below shows that the arabinose induction of the pBAD promoter does work. This result shows testing of pBAD GFP in a spectrophotometer for fluorescence production per optical density 600. Samples of pBAD GFP were induced with different concentrations of arabinose: a control of 0% arabinose and samples of 0.1% and 1% arabinose. As the level of arabinose increased, the fluorescence production also increased proving that arabinose triggers GFP production.
