This is an improved version of BBa_K811003, which encodes a truncated variant of an ice nucleating protein (INP) found in Xanthomonas campestris. The truncated protein INPNC lacks the large central repeat region, but retains membrane display abilities. The sequence was codon optimised and the stopcodon and one BsaI site was removed.
