Superfolder GFP under control of strong constitutive promoter and RyhB siRNA domain
Usage and Biology
This part consists of the superfolder GFP gene (sfgfp), with a RhyB binding sequence in its 5' UTR. RhyB is an srRNA that is expressed in E.coli and several other bacteria under low iron conditions. This results in sfGFP being downregulated in low iron conditions, which we see in the form of lower florescence.
