a device to produce alkali and neutralize the external acidic environment
This device is part of our basic regulation circuit in 2015 project of BIT-China.
Using an acid induced promoter asr(BBa_K1170000), strong RBS(BBa_B0034),alkaline substance producing gene gadA coding region(BBa_K1675003).Will produce alkali under acidic environment and neutralize the external pH.
Fig.1 The final fermentation result of the basic regulation system under acidic stress. By calculating the pH change of unit active biomass in unit time, This figure can be drawed.
