This part is designed to proceed cadmium detection in E.coli. Zintp K896008 is a promoter which is designed by NYMU in 2013. ZinTp (pYodA) is a promoter which expresses the downstream gene in the presence of cadmium ion. The activity of this promoter is specific affect by cadmium ion and won’t be induced by other ions like zinc, copper, cobalt, and nickel. It is a part highly specific to the cadmium.The promoter can trigger the RFP.
K896008 is a promoter which adapt to the reaction of cadmium. When combining, cadmium activates this sequence and starts the whole reaction. B0030 is ribosome combing site. E1010 is a RFP which can produce red fluorescent protein.
