Applications of BBa_K1339024
Tokyo-NoKoGen 2015 |width='60%' valign='top'| This part works well. The enzyme, G3DH, expressed from this parts could convert trehalose to 3'3-dkttrehalose. Following figure shows that G3DH can recognize trehalose as its substrate and it has activity toward trehalose. File:NK6.jpeg
Also, we built up one hypothesis that G3DH can recognize cellobiose as its substrate because of its wide specificity of substrate recognition. So, we checked the activity of G3DH towards cellobiose. Following figure shows that the G3DH has its activity towards cellobiose. File:Enz.jpeg From these results, Tokyo-NoKoGen 2015 figured out that the enzyme G3DH expressed from this parts has activity towards trehalose and cellobiose.
