GFP Reporter with Mutant RBS 11AC
This reporter carries a mutant of RBS BBa_B0034. This mutant carries a single base pair substitution on the eleventh base pair. The base pair A is substituted to C. The construct consist of the pLac promoter BBa_R0011, mutant RBS derive from BBa_B0034 , GFP BBa_E0040 and double terminator BBa_B0015.
The purpose of this construct is to characterize the mutant RBS in Shewanella oneidensis MR1 strain.
This reporter can also be derived from the existing construct, BBa_J69511.
The characterization is shown below,
