C3 (OpIE2+ HBM signal sequence + Nanoluc + T2A sequence + mRFP1 + 6xHis)


Usage and Biology

This construct contains the OpIE2 inmediate-early promoter, the Honeybee Melittin signal peptide and the Nanoluc with a Histidine Tag, a T2A sequence for polycistronic expression, and finally RFP protein with Histidine Tag.

Signal peptide sequences are for extracellular secretion of Nanoluc, RFP remains inside the cell, this to compare extracellular and intracellular protein expression and characterize the functionality of the promoter.
