Mdh2
Methanol dehydrogenase from Bacillus methanolicus MGA3, codon optimized for E.coli. NAD+ dependent alcohol dehydrogenase that converts methanol to formaldehyde.
CH3OH + NAD(+) → CH2O + NADH
