P(Lac)IQ RBS LuxR ter ter luxpR RBS eyfp ter ter


We designed and built a kill switch mechanism that based on the activation of a lethal gene downstream of an inducible promoter that can be activated over time.

The here presented BioBrick similar to BBa_k1767009 but without Aiia which consist of a constitutive promoter(I14032) driving expression of LuxR, followed by Lux promoter(R0062) . This promoter is activated by LuxR complex driving expression of YFP.

This BioBrick built for testing because we want to see how the first part of our system works without Aiia .
