Salicylic acid generator

This part is used to generate salicylic acid. Consists of promoter, RBS, pchBA, terminator. This part is almost identical to BBa_J45320, except that it uses the B0030 RBS instead of B0032 (which is in BBa_J45320).

Salicylic Acid Generating Device (SAGD):

converts chorismate into salicylic acid
production of salicylic acid was verified by controlled tests: E. coli with WGD but no SAGD did not produce methyl salicylate (that is, they did not smell minty), while E. coli containing both the SAGD and WGD did produce methyl salicylate autonomously.
