COI1
COI1 - COI1 is an E3 ligase that interacts with Jaz proteins (leading to their subsequent ubiquitination and degradation) after coronatin is introduced to the system. It is a system found in plants that is analogous to the auxin-TIR1-AID system studied by the Evry 2012 team.
The 2014 Nevada iGEM team cloned this part into a yeast integrating vector and observed its expression and functionality.
