Lac Inducible Codon Optimized Supernova

Supernova is the monomeric version of KillerRed (BB_K1184000). Codon optimized Supernova with WTLac promoter allows for induction of Supernova expression with IPTG.

Of the three superoxide generators, Supernova had the biggest decrease in viability following photobleaching when compared to its control. It also had the largest decrease in fluorescence following photobleaching. Fluorescence was measured at (ex/em = 585nm/610nm).
