Constitutive Codon Optimized Killer Red

Codon optimized version of superoxide generator Killer Red (BBa_K1491015) with a constitutive promoter (BBa_J23100) and a ribosome binding site (BBa_B0034).

This part is the codon optimized version of KillerRed (BBa_K1184000). It has been optimized for E. coli by eliminating the rare codons.

Characterization:

The codon optimized KillerRed and codon optimized monomeric form (SuperNova) were characterized and compared to the original KillerRed using photobleaching and viability assays.
