Prlux-rbs-cI-Ter-PcI-rbs-lacI-Ter
Plasmid 2 in detector: Prlux-rbs-cI-Ter-PcI-rbs-lacI-Ter It is a low level detection plasmid. It suppresses the expression of lacI when AHL is enough, which will result in the expression of rfp when AHL is above a certain level.
This plasmid can also help to suppress the expression of rfp in the plasmid 1, which will end up making the bacteria with two kinds of plasmids can express rfp at a certain AHL concentration.
The left one is the bacteria with plasmid 1, the middle one is the bacteria with plasmid 2, the right is the bacteria with plasmid 1&2
From left to right, Marker(DL2000), Prlux-rbs-cI-T, PcI-rbs-lacI-T, Prlux-rbs-cI-T-PcI-rbs-lacI-T. The substances of electrophoresis are made from PCR of plasmids with VF2 and VR as their primers.
