[http://2014.igem.org/Team:Aachen The iGEM Team Aachen 2014] used this biobrick to detect 3-oxo-C12-HSL as well as Pseudomonas aeruginosa directly.

Detection of 3-oxo-C12-HSL using a microplate Reader:

Testing K131026 in sensor chips
K131026 in our sensor chip induced with 0.2 µL 3-oxo-CTemplate:Sub HSL and measured with a plate reader. Blue color indicates no fluorescence, red color indicates fluorescence. Top chip is not induced, bottom chip is induced with HSL.
