This part is one of a series of designed repressors used by the 2014 Calgary iGEM team (<partinfo>BBa_K1444002</partinfo>), cloned in front of the C2-P22 repressor protein <partinfo>BBa_C0053</partinfo>. Though this construct is itself repressible, our team only used it as a constitutive generator. We were able to show that this construct prevented expression of our reported construct <partinfo>BBa_K1444022</partinfo>. See that page for more details.
