tsPurple chromoprotein in GoldenGate standard

Biology:
tsPurple is a chromoprotein which takes its name from TinselPurple. It exhibits a strong purple colour when expressed. The protein has its maximum absorption at ***nm giving it a purple hue visible to the naked eye. (visible wavelength: 390 to 700nm)

Expression:
The chromoprotein can be readily observed when expressed in E.coli in both LB or agar plate cultures within 24h of inoculation. This protein has also been successfully expressed in Marchantia polymorpha, a promising new plant chassis.
