Be sure to add your parts and send samples to the Registry so that they can be made available to the community!
Featured on the Registry
The iGEM Registry is a growing collection of genetic parts that can be mixed and matched to build synthetic biology devices and systems. As part of the synthetic biology community's efforts to make biology easier to engineer, it provides a source of genetic parts to iGEM teams and academic labs. You can learn more about iGEM Teams and Labs at iGEM.org.
We're in the part of our season where teams are brainstorming and trying to figure out what to work on over the summer. The distributions will be shipping soon, so what should you do in the mean time? Brainstorm! We've created several pages to help teams see what projects have been done in the past and to highlight some of our most used and documented parts. The iGEM Tracks page describes each track and lists winners from 2011 - 2013. It also shows the new tracks we have in the 2014 competition.

2013 Annual Review
After the 2013 competition was over, we did some work putting together a report summing up our year: 2013 Anual Review.
We created several resources that teams might find useful. We created a "project harvesting" document that associates key words with each 2013 project. You can download this spreadsheet here:
We also had scientist and blogger Christina Agapakis at the Jamboree. Christina wrote a report on the Jamboree that summarizes many great projects and themes.
