This is biobrick is the counterpart of the other biobrick T7-RBS-ssDsbA-PDZ Ligand-Voltage sensor peptide-RFP N terminus (BBa_K1092023), and is composed of the voltage switch (BBa_K1092009 & BBa_K1092010) and the RFP fragments (BBa_K1092105 & BBa_K1092106). In this Example, we demonstrate the possibility of using the voltage switch as a fast control of fluorescent signal. We made use of the biomolecular fluorescent complementation to achieve this purpose, and we worked on making the first reversible BiFC reaction in the world.
