Promoter Qrr4 + RFP
In Vibrio cholerae the Qrr4 gene is part of the quorum sensing genes. When Vibrio cholerae is not present it controls the formation of a sRNA which affects the virulence and biofilm formation of V.cholerae. We attached the promoter for Qrr4 to the reporter protein RFP to help us detect the presence of V.cholerae.
