BSMT1 enzyme
This BioBrick contains the coding sequence for BSMT1 (S-adenosylmethionine-dependent methyltransferase), it was derived from a Petunia hybrida gene and it catalyzes the reaction neeeded to product Methyl Salicylate from Salicylic Acid. This part was cloned by the iGEM Trento 2013 team for the creation of Wintergreen Device BBa_K1065106.
