This device was successfully employed in BBa_K1073035 to mediate ampicillin resistance in the presence of LasR and N-3-oxododecanoyl-HSL. Due to the leakiness of the promoter cells also grow when N-3-oxododecanoyl-HSL is not present. Uninduced activity of the promoter differs depending on strain and media used. |
