SV40 promoter
SV40 promotor is a viral promotor derived from Simian virus 40. \\ \\
Because we could not found the SV40 promotor in the parts registry, we decided to provide one to the following iGEM teams. This enables the teams to choose from differently strong mammalian promotors – dependent of the individual intention.\\ We tested both promotors (BBa_K1150011 [SV40], BBa_K747096 [CMV]) with our own devices for expression rate and effectivity.
