This part consists of the E. coli chromosomal ars promoter and arsR repressor gene (J33201), which together comprise a promoter system induced by sodium arsenate, plus the lacZ' minigene (J33202) and the cscA sucrose hydrolase gene from an E. coli O157 strain (K917000).
