Arabinose --> HIV protease secretion
OmpA - HIV autocleavage secretion system
Upon addition of arabinose to the medium, the inducible Pbad promoter drives the expression of outer membrane protein A fused to a extracellular linker (ompA brick) followed by a cleavage site recognizable by HIV protease which is linked to that protease coding sequence.
We expect the protease recognizes its own cleavage site and releases itself to the medium.
This part was used by [http://2012.igem.org/Team:UC_Chile 2012 UC Chile team] to secrete GFP.
