Orthogonal 16S DNA sequence from rrnB

Usage and Biology

This BioBrick is used to produce orthogonal 16S rRNA to form orthogonal ribosome. This ribosome can prevent the genetic pollution resulting from unwanted translation of canonical mRNA.
