Applications of BBa_J100079
When tested with different concentrations of theophylline, this device successfully turned on the production of GFP. Riboswitch D-3 and Riboswitch D-4 refer to different ligations, but they are both Part: J100079.
Because theophylline and caffeine are very similar (a difference of one methyl group) we tested the riboswitch with caffeine and theophylline. The riboswitch did not respond to caffeine showing that it is specific to theophylline
