This composite part includes a medium-weak RBS, N4-derived gene (gp8), and a strong transcriptional terminator.
Usage and Biology
The coding region produces a small protein (gp8) which binds to the delta-subunit of DNA Polymerase III in the K12 strain of E. Coli to stop DNA replication.
