LacI Repressor Generator (Hef1a-LacI) MammoBlock Device

This MammoBlock composite device produces the LacI repressor protein at a low, constitutive level.

Graph showing the repressing function of constitutively expressed LacI on a Hef1a-LacO promoter heading an EYFP reporter. With increasing IPTG levels, there is decreased inhibition by LacI on the Hef1a-LacO target promoter.
