We have replaced the GFP in this device with YFP (containing a LVA tag). We changed the colour of the fluorescence protein so that it won't interfere with the fluorescence assays of the other devices in the our 'monitoring tools' sub-project. Also the LVA tag ensures faster degradation of the YFP and more sensitive and accurate fluorescence assays. The improved device can be found at Part:BBa_K676002
