Applications of BBa_K559010
Application 1
We apply this biobrick system for the Computer-aided light-coupled gene expression regulation platform.
Figure 1: The Computer-aided light-coupled gene expression regulation platform is shown for
Figure 2. The agarose gel photo shows the Pgad cassette size information. Genes regulated by Pgad cassette are only expressed with presence of sodium chloride. Zymographic analysis of cell wall hydrolase activity in cell extracts prepared from samples taken 6 hours after addition of 0.5 M NaCl to cultures at an OD600 of 0.5. Lane 1: lacZ; Lane 2: lacZ+NaCl; Lane 3: lytPR; Lane 4: lytPR+NaCl; Lane 5: acmA; Lane 6: acmA+NaCl. [1]
Figure 3. Voltage against sodium chloride concentration test shows the capability using entropy-mixing electrodes to monitor extracellular sodium chloride concentration. The electrodes were immersed in 25 ml sodium chloride solutions with different concentrations until the voltage achieved a steady level. The steady voltages were recorded and plotted.
