Usage and Biology

This part is intended to be used to build a logical AND gate (or multiple input gate) to control gene expression from pMnt; so that only when green light is ON and any other Mnt source is OFF, expression from pMnt is allowed. The other Mnt source must then be placed under the control of a repressible promoter (other than pPenI) whose repressor expression is controlled by the second input.
