This part consists of a Aldehyde Decarbonylase to Acyl-ACP Reductase (ADC-AAR) direct gene fusion with a linker for co-localization in a Lac inducible PSB1C3 high consititutive vector. 2011 University of Washington Team has designed and constructed this to see if this can increase the alkane product yield by bringing two enzymes closer to each other.
