Unregulated TetR with pTet Regulated Arg-tagged ECFP
Made by assembling BBa_P0440 with BBa_K331033.
The pTet promoter is constitutively "on"; thus, Arg-tagged ECFP will be produced constitutively. By placing an inducible promoter upstream of this part, expression of the Arg-tagged ECFP will be regulated inversely. If the pLacI promoter (BBa_R0010) is placed upstream, the presence of IPTG will cease Arg-tagged ECFP expression.
Intermediate part to assemble the "Co-localization Testing Construct".
