This part is complementary to RSID 1 (BBa_....) and RBS BBa_B0034. The transcribed sRNA is designed to prevent the translation of an mRNA transcript containing RSID 1 and RBS_B0034 by binding to the mRNA transcript and occluding the RBS. This part does not have significant sequence similarity to the E. coli genome, so it should not interfere with the host cell machinery. For increased transcript stability, this part contains custom designed 5' hairpin to prevent RNase degradation.
