This pathway expresses SCSdC-mCh[1-10] using T7 expression system.

This pathway expresses SCSdC-mCh[1-10] using T7 expression system.

Usage and Biology

We used this pathway to express SCSdC-mCh[1-10] by using T7 expression system in E.coli. And the expression of SCSdC-mCh[1-10] can be induced by IPTG. For more information on SCSdC-mCh[1-10], go to BBa_K5301005.

Characterization

We used SDS-PAGE to test whether this pathway is expressed successfully(Figure 1). The molecular weight of SCSdC-mCh[1-10] is 76.3 kDa. And we purified the target protein with a molecular weight of approximately 70-100 kD (Lane 4 - Lane 5), which demonstrated that we had successfully expressed this pathway.
