This basic part codes for an 6X Histidine tag with a N-terminal AGVG linker and C terminal double stop codon.  The part is intended for use in protein purification using IMAC (Immobilized Metal ion Affinity Chromatography) purification.  This part can be added to the C-terminal of a coding sequence (with the native stop codon removed), which will add the flexible AGVG linker and then a 6X Histidine tag.
