M13 bacteriophage gVI
This part is the protein VI of the M13 bacteriophage.
Usage and Biology
Protein VI is a minor coat protein of the M13 bacteriophage [Knezevic et al., 2021]. It is located on the end of the M13 filament alongside the protein III, while at the opposite end are located proteins VII and VIII (Figure 1).

Protein VI is responsible for terminating virion assembly. In its absence, phage particles remain attached to the bacterial membrane.
