New composite part medium promoter, operator and strong RBS (+GFP)

New composite part Medium promoter BBa_J23110, LldR operator BBa_K4584001, strong RBS B0034 and GFP BBa_E0040 Acts as a biosensor to study the regulatory activity of the LldR transcription factor in response to lactate. In the absence of lactate, LldR binds to the operator, inhibiting GFP expression and resulting in no fluorescence. When lactate is present, it interacts with LldR, preventing it from binding to the operator, which then enables GFP expression. This leads to green fluorescence, indicating lactate's presence. By monitoring the fluorescence, researchers can determine the presence or absence of lactate and study LldR's regulatory role in this context.

We designed and ordered a new composite BioBrick BBa_K4584002 with cloning linkers shown in yellow, medium promoter BioBrick BBa_J23110 (shown in magenta), LldR operator region BioBrick BBa_K4584001 (shown in grey), strong RBS BioBrick BBa_B0034 (shown in teal) and GFP BioBrick BBa_E0040 (shown in green), scar sequences underlined.
