  • The plasmid with the promoter inserts was ordered from Addgene, Cambridge (USA): Plasmid 14940, pLDLR-Luc (aka: pES7).
  • We used the following primers with BBb_standard for the amplification and isolation of the LDL receptor promoter:
    • primer forward: 5'-GATCGAATTCGCGGCCGCACTAGTAGCCCAATTCGCCCTTGGC-3'
