This TnsA protein from the E.coli Tn7 is part of the insertion of transposable elements by guide RNA–assisted targeting (INTEGRATE) system devised by Vo et al.(2020). The INTEGRATE system consists of CRISPR RNA-guided integrases for bacterial genome engineering (see <a href="https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K3776022"> BBa_K3776022</a>). TnsA is a catalytic enzyme that excises the transposon donor via coordinated double-strand breaks.
