Usage and Biology
FIGURE 2. The relative fluorescence of HBS (E.coli-pHBS-GFP) and WT (E.coli-wildtype).
Measured by excitation wavelength of 475 nm, emission wavelength of 515 nm. Relative fluorescence is calculated by the formula below, LB medium with corresponding hemin concentration as blank.
FIGURE 3. From the result, we can know that the relative fluorescence and and hemin concentration have a linear relation from 0 to 5 μM. It has an obvious difference to wildtype when the hemin concentration is higher than 2 μM.
