Lac repressor
Lacl through the helix-turn-helix structure in its DNA binding domain, and binds to the operon region of the Lac operon. The residues formulate the alpha helix, which is deeply combined. This combined repressor can decrease the transcription of Lac protein by blocking the RNA polymerase or promoting DNA circulation. When lactose is present, it binds to the Lac repressor, causing allosteric changes.
