Fluorescent RNA aptamer construct flanked by F30 tRNA scaffolds to protect it from degradation. Its transcription is repressed by the PbrR transcription factor. Upon addition of the Pb, the transcription factor unbinds allowing the native Cupriavidus Metallidurans CH34 polymerase to transcribe the construct, resulting in green fluorescence if the DFHBI fluorophore is added.
