GAL7 promoter
GAL7 promoter can be induced by galactose in Cryptococcus neoformans. It is the first inducible promoter characterized in C. neoformans.
Usage and Biology
It was used to transcribe the downstream genes when induced. It drives the transcription of GAL7 gene when induced by galactose.
